Peggy Lee falls out of copyright (in the UK)

Here’s an interesting scenario which will become more and more common…

Peggy Lee’s early albums have fallen out of coppyright in the UK – still owned by Universal Music in the US – but offered for sale as imports on US Amazon.

I am sure Universal can get Amazon to pull it from their US site, but it underlies the problems in having different rights in different territories. I wonder who is supplying Peggy Lee to the digital music stores in the UK (and Europe).
